America’s Oldest Little Theatre
The Players promotes artistic creativity, cultural heritage, and education through dramatic arts at the historic Barker Playhouse on Benefit Street in Providence.
Incorporated in 1909, this non-profit theater was created with the objective of providing the opportunity for all to experience amateur theatrical productions.
This Season With The Players
Preview the four plays and one musical we have scheduled for this,
our 116th season on the main stage at the Barker Playhouse.
Lots of talent there and the Sunday afternoon receptions, complete with center pieces, designed with a motif related to the play, are outstanding.
